In 1999 the directors of Orkney
Business Ring Ltd felt there was a possible need for a Labour Agency in Orkney,
so subsequently comissioned a feasibility study. Following this detailed study
the Labour Agency was founded, aided by The Rural Challenge Fund and Orkney
Enterprise.
November 200 saw the launch of our labour agency under the name 'Orkney Rural
Labour Services'. The name was changed in September 2001 when 'Orkney Rural
Labour Services merged with our core business 'Orkney Machinery Ring' to become
Orkney Business Ring Ltd.
